Coming Home To Your Body
Step Into Your Radiance
So many of us have inherited patterns of self-criticism and body shame — passed down from our mothers and grandmothers, and reinforced by a culture that profits from our insecurities. This retreat is an invitation to break free and reconnect with the magnificence that has always been yours.
Over the course of a nourishing weekend, we’ll weave together education, embodiment, and joyful sisterhood. Together we will:
- Pull back the curtain on the history of diet culture and its impact
- Explore how to support wellbeing at every size through the lens of Ayurveda
- Experience deeply restorative practices — gentle yoga, somatic awareness, yoga nidra
- Enjoy playful and liberating sessions like sensual movement and a sisterhood bonfire
Your Himalayan Institute Experience
Nestled on 400 serene acres in the Poconos, the Himalayan Institute offers everything you need for rest and renewal:
- Peaceful lodging options for every budget, from simple shared rooms to deluxe suites — all including nourishing vegetarian meals served buffet-style (with vegan and gluten-free options available)
- Sacred practice spaces, including the Sri Vidya Shrine, yoga classrooms, and expansive hiking trails
- Wellness and community amenities, from the PureRejuv Wellness Center to a cozy tea lounge, café, and bookstore
What You’ll Take Home
You’ll leave the weekend feeling empowered, sensual, and fully stepped into your own magnificence — ready to return to daily life with renewed strength, self-love, and joy. Optional virtual body-image coaching sessions (additional fee) are also available to continue your journey after the retreat.
