Core Compass

A Core & Pelvic Floor Retreat for Strength, Support & Reconnection
April 2—4, 2027

Core Compass is a restorative and educational movement retreat focused on rebuilding efficient core and pelvic floor function while increasing awareness of how stress and overfunctioning patterns show up in the body and daily life.

Many people move through life relying on compensatory strategies—bracing, holding, over-efforting, or disconnecting from core support—especially during periods of stress, caregiving, postpartum recovery, or major life transitions. Over time, these patterns can contribute to fatigue, physical strain, and a reduced sense of internal stability.

This retreat combines functional movement, science-informed yoga, nervous system regulation, and reflective practice to help participants identify these patterns and begin actively reshaping them.

A central focus is the re-education of core and pelvic floor coordination as part of a larger system of whole-body support. Participants are guided through targeted movement and awareness practices designed to improve functional engagement, reduce unnecessary tension, and restore more efficient patterns of support.

Alongside physical practice, participants explore how overfunctioning patterns appear in daily life—such as in relationships, caregiving roles, work habits, and stress responses—and how these patterns can be shifted through awareness, regulation, and intentional change.

The retreat also includes structured reflection and integration work, helping participants translate insight into a realistic, sustainable plan for change beyond the retreat setting.

This program is especially relevant for individuals experiencing:
  • postpartum recovery and core/pelvic floor rebuilding
  • chronic overfunctioning or stress-related holding patterns
  • life transitions impacting identity, energy, or physical stability
  • a desire to reconnect movement patterns with real-life habits and behavior
Participants leave with:
  • clearer awareness of compensatory movement and stress patterns
  • improved functional core and pelvic floor coordination
  • practical tools for nervous system regulation
  • insight into how overfunctioning shows up in daily life
  • a realistic integration plan for sustaining change

Core Compass is a structured return to functional support in the body, and a practical process for aligning how you breathe, move, and show up for life every day.
