Exhale and Renew

A Summer Retreat for Educators
June 12—14, 2026

Ready to bring closure to the school year and prepare for a meaningful reset?

Join us for 3 days / 2 nights in the beautiful Pocono mountains, where you’ll process and release the work behind you, and intentionally design the restful, renewing summer you need.

Who Is This Retreat For?

This retreat is for educators who are feeling burned out, stuck, or simply ready for a fresh perspective. If you’re seeking work/life balance, wanting to reconnect with your purpose in education, or ready to release limiting beliefs that drain your energy, this retreat is for you. Teachers of all subjects, grades, and specialities are welcome! If you identify as an educator, you belong here.

What To Expect

Though you’ll have plenty of time for reflection and rest, this retreat weekend offers a full range of restorative experiences. You’ll enjoy delicious healthy meals, guided excursions to get you moving outdoors, restorative live music in the form of “sound baths,” mindful time to reconnect with yourself in nature, and meaningful connection with educators who understand your world.

Every activity is entirely optional! You can join us for any (or all) of the following:

  • Evening Property Tour and Sunset Views: After our first dinner together, we’ll take an evening stroll to explore the peaceful pond, beautiful gardens, and other serene spots on the property. Then we’ll make our way to the Sound of Music Hill, where you’ll have a sweeping, unobstructed view of the mountains and valleys at sunset.
  • Sound Bath and Intention Setting: After familiarizing yourself with the property, we’ll gather to set intentions for the weekend. Then, settle in on your back on a yoga mat and cushion, nestled underneath blankets, and let the healing sounds wash over you. You’ll hear chimes, a gong, singing bowls, and other healing instruments played live. Allow the vibrations to release the school year’s accumulated stress and tension.
  • Seminar: Restorative and Mindfulness Practices for Educators: After a peaceful night’s sleep and delicious breakfast together, we’ll have an informal, discussion-based seminar on restorative practices. Discover practical, evidence-based strategies for incorporating mindfulness and nature practices into your daily life. Learn how these tools can help you manage stress, prevent burnout, and maintain your wellbeing throughout the school year.
  • Guided Sensory Forest Bathing: Experience a mindfully guided walk into the summer woods. This sensory immersion practice helps you slow down and deeply connect with nature’s restorative energy. It’s a practice you’ll learn to do on your own at home anytime you’d like to de-stress.
  • Restorative Yoga with Essential Oils and Healing Sounds: Stretch and relax in restorative postures that relieve tension, while the scent of pleasant essential oils helps you stay present in your body during the experience. While you’re relaxed, you’ll also get to hear the beautiful instruments from our sound immersion session.
  • Sweet Sensory Adventure at Moka Origins: Join us for a short walk to the on-property cafe, Moka Origins, where ethically-sourced cacao and coffee beans are transformed into delicious treats. Learn about the production process, sip hot drinks, savor cookies or dark chocolate bars, and shop for tasty souvenirs. Bring your journal along for a cozy reflection session in a new setting and enjoy conversations with fellow educators.
  • Burn Ceremony and Fire Pit Gathering: On Saturday night, we’ll gather around the fire pit for a powerful outdoor gathering and safely burn papers with the beliefs, patterns, and burdens we’re ready to release from our work and life. This ceremony creates space for the new mindsets and possibilities you’re calling into your life.
  • Scenic Summer Hike: Following our final breakfast and restorative practices mini seminar on Sunday morning, we’ll take the beautiful purple trail loop which leads to the top of the property, pause for photos at the gazebo, and soak in the summer landscape one last time.
