This festival is focused on yoga in addition to promoting an overall healthy lifestyle.  This event is meant to benefit everyone in our local community and will offer a diverse array of yoga instruction for every age and level yogi from beginner to advanced.  Classes will include exploration of Vinyasa, Kundalini, Restorative, Chakra Flow, Acro Yoga, Yin and much more The festival will feature some of the best instructors from all over the country including Alanna Kaivalya from NYC and Pete Guinosso from San Francisco and so many more.

The event is being hosted by Chelsea Manganaro, owner of the Nearme Yoga studios in Moosic and Peckville.  Nearme Yoga will be partnering with a variety of local business to continue to promote health and wellness in NEPA for the third straight year.  “We plan provide our guests a plenty of reasons to visit come to the NEPA Yoga Festival, through yoga, art, music, and presentations, shopping, socializing, healthy food, and a healing tent to be added this year,” said Chelsea Manganaro, Festival founder and Director. “Since the first year, the yoga community has significantly grown in the United States in general, and I cannot wait for June 10 to share my passion and excitement with everyone.

Teachers from throughout the NEPA region will hold classes on the grounds of the Montage Mountain Water Park, which will remain open.  NEPA Yoga Fest is family friendly, so along with the many different classes there will be live music, lectures, meditations and children’s activities such as face painting and henna tattoos.  Unique local vendors and artists will be providing a wide selection of goods as well as multiple healthy food options available for purchase.

The NEPA Yoga Festival at Montage Mountain is Saturday, June 10, 2017. Rain or shine.

Ticket costs are discounted in advance and $69 day of and $50 for students and Veterans.  Children under 3 are free and ages 4-16 are $25 and include a waterpark ticket.  Family packs are also available.
