Get away for a weekend of therapeutic massage, biofeedback sessions, and Private yoga sessions designed to help you unwind and feel refreshed.

This retreat puts rejuvenation and optimal health in your hands. This 3-day program provides you with relaxing and therapeutic services which will support you in your journey to creating renewed wellness and a balanced life.

Pause and Renew Retreat Includes:

A 60-Minute Integrative Consultation: This 60-minute medical and lifestyle consultation will provide an integrative approach to renewing your health. Combining concepts from allopathic (conventional), homeopathic, and ayurvedic medicine, core faculty member Theresa Oswald, MD, will work with you to understand your health needs, make recommendations for a balanced lifestyle, and suggest natural medicines and supplements that support healing.

Daily 60-Minute Bodywork Treatment: Our highly skilled massage therapy staff will release muscular tension and restore the flow of healing energy in your body through individual bodywork treatments. Multiple treatments are sure to unwind stress and bring peace to body and mind.

A 60-minute Building Resilience Assessment: Resilience is the capacity to prepare for, recover from, and adapt in the face of stress, adversity, trauma, or challenge. In this session modern, computerized biofeedback techniques will be used to assess your breathing and resilience.

A 60-Minute Private Yoga Session: Our senior yoga teachers will use the tools of yoga (postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation) to help you find more ease and freedom in your body and mind. These private yoga sessions are tailored to each individual, focusing on your specific needs. You will discover simple techniques that will make a profound impact on your healing journey.

The program begins with an orientation on Friday evening and concludes at lunch on Sunday.

The Sri Vidya Shrine is the spiritual heart of the Himalayan Institute. This sanctuary offers an ideal setting for silent meditation and group spiritual practice, a cornerstone of the Himalayan Tradition for thousands of years. Open to seekers of all backgrounds and traditions, the Shrine provides a serene, sacred space for meditation, quiet reflection, prayer, and contemplation.
Nourishing Meals
Our nutritionally balanced vegetarian meals are thoughtfully prepared to nourish body, mind, and spirit. Each of our three daily meals is designed to be easily digestible and to support a meditative lifestyle. Sharing meals here naturally fosters connection, offering both deep nourishment and a sense of community.

Our Himalayan Café serves the Institute’s signature chai, coffee, and homemade cookies and treats on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The 24/7 Tea Lounge offers a variety of herbal teas for anytime enjoyment. On campus, the MOKA Origins Factory is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering handcrafted, ethically sourced chocolate and coffee, with free tours and tastings on Saturdays.
