Luke’s weekend retreat was a joyous gift from start to finish. The yoga instruction was excellent, of course, but that was no surprise to me, after more than a year of daily practice with Luke’s rich library of online classes on Yoga International. I loved the meditation instruction and Luke’s close attention to the ways each of us might enhance or deepen his or her practice, whether by figuring out a better way to sit or by learning a new set of ancient rituals. And I especially appreciated Luke’s gracious, friendly presence and his generosity of spirit, which drew our whole group into a happy and comfortable communion, whether over meals, by the fire pit at night, or on a wonderful hike through the woods. If you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to participate in one of Luke’s retreats, take it!

I am astounded by the tremendously positive effects I have been receiving from this past weekend. I have been doing the breathing exercises at home and for the first time in many years, I am able to sleep the entire night without waking up. I have a sense of peacefulness and a distinct lack of anxiety that in the past lurked around every corner of my mind. Luke, What a wonderful respite for myself and, at the same time, a wonderful way to re-ignite my own practice. Your humble, open-hearted, and often humorous style of sharing your knowledge and skills, made for a very accessible, and content-packed workshop that I cannot say enough about. What a great weekend retreat to recharge one’s own practice and infuse it with new focus and form. My yoga practice over the decades has ebbed and flowed in many, many ways; through the foundation of Breath, it can find new power and passion.

All in all, I am a much calmer, happier, and clearer human being and I am so grateful to you for these tools to facilitate my own healing process as well as for my clients/patients. It has been challenging at times and it has taken a lot of commitment on my part, but it has been so rewarding!
