Take time to care for you. Spend 3 days cleansing and revitalizing your body and mind at our Reconnect with Yourself retreat, blending modern and ancient techniques like Yoga and MELT.

Your Reconnect weekend begins the moment you drive onto our 400-acre campus, nestled in the beauty of the Pocono Mountains. Hot tea, filtered water, and meditative surroundings are complimentary. And three freshly made vegetarian meals are available daily for purchase to nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

Your Host Tatyana Kochergina, and Guest Speaker Steph Gisondi, Certified Life and Wellness Coach.

Steph and I will introduce 4 Ways to Re-Activate Your True Nature and reconnect with your body, mind, and soul.

  1. MELT Method — a healing art that is designed to reconnect whole-body communication, rebalance the nervous system, rehydrate the connective tissue, and release compression in joints.
  2. Yoga — a balanced practice that typically includes asanas, breath training, systematic relaxation, and seated meditation. Appropriate for all levels of experience, including beginners.
  3. Mindful Walking — a nontraditional form of meditation that helps you connect with the environment, communicate with nature, get to know your body, slow yourself down, strengthen concentration, increase your awareness of intention, expand everyday mindfulness, and connect to the present moment.
  4. Nourish Your Soul Workshop — Steph will help you learn how to release the fears, doubts, and stories that have kept you living in a state of “good enough” and tolerating toxic relationships, behaviors, and situations.

And if that isn’t enough, we are certain that a tour of the Moka Origins chocolate factory, which is located on the Himalayan Institute property, and a campfire under the stars will melt your heart and create unforgettable memories.

On the last day, you’ll have plenty of down time to rest and detox in your own personal way and to visit the Wellness Center, where you can book a massage and relax.

It’s a place where friendships form naturally, often becoming the kind of connections that feel like family, and last a lifetime.
Rest in Nature
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Poconos, the Himalayan Institute’s 400-acre campus offers breathtaking views, scenic hiking trails, and quiet spaces for reflection and contemplation. Walking is a favorite activity, whether along our groomed trails or meandering paved roads, inviting both movement and mindful presence in nature.
Conscious Simplicity
At the Himalayan Institute, we embrace simplicity in all aspects of life, from our surroundings to our approach to yoga. By minimizing distractions, we create space to strengthen the inner self and quiet the mind. Guided by authenticity and grounded in philosophy rather than frills, we support a path of meaningful personal growth.
Treat Yourself
Our Himalayan Café serves the Institute’s signature chai, coffee, and homemade cookies and treats on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The 24/7 Tea Lounge offers a variety of herbal teas for anytime enjoyment. On campus, the MOKA Origins Factory is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering handcrafted, ethically sourced chocolate and coffee, with free tours and tastings on Saturdays.
