Program Calendar

Ours is the era of power, progress, and abundance. Cutting edge technology has created a world our ancestors could never have imagined. With unprecedented progress in agriculture, education, medical sciences, defense systems, and artificial intelligence—all leading to mass production and mass consumption—we have no reason to feel unsafe, unprotected, or insecure. Yet, we do. Financial insecurity, domestic violence, drug addiction, polarization of social views and values, reckless exploitation of natural resources, and mindless regrouping of global powers make us wonder what fate this era of ours will meet.

The rapid rise in the toxicity of our soil, water, and air, the overconsumption of natural resources, the ever-widening gap between poor and rich, and an alarming portion of humanity embroiled in anger, hatred, fear, jealousy, self-righteousness, and divisive tendencies are signs that we are at the brink of losing what took centuries to build. Although chasing the idea of doomsday is childish, we must take these warnings seriously.

Rudra Yaga is a time-tested practice for re-instilling ourselves and the collective consciousness with the vigor, wisdom, compassion, and determination we need to heal ourselves and the natural world. It is the gift of the Tradition, which, from time to time, masters have used to invoke the forces of inner healing and nourishment, especially at times when our political systems, religious institutions, and commercial forces have failed us. This is one of those times. We are fortunate that we are part of that Tradition, and custodian of that knowledge. With this program, Rudra Yaga — Healing Ourselves and Healing the Planet, we invite you to experience the power and wisdom the Tradition has passed on to us.

With the study and practice of Rudra Yaga, take your current practice to the next level, enrich your personal life, and contribute to the health and healing of the larger world.

Part 2 – Practice Capstone Weekend

Format:
In-Person or Online
July 10—13, 2025

This Practice Capstone weekend is highly experiential. The goal is to have a firsthand experience of how the practice commences, how nature’s finer forces are invoked, how the havan kunda—the sacred fireplace—is consecrated, how the fire is lit mantrically, how a cohesive environment is created, how we as individuals build a collective consciousness, how our power of intention and the power of mantras are used to transport the shakti of our practice to a particular aspect the natural world, and ultimately, how the practice of Rudra Yaga serves the Lifeforce itself

This 3-day Rudra Yaga practice intensive will give us a clear understanding of how this practice serves as a doorway to many other potent practices of yoga, tantra, and meditation, and how one day this practice can unlock the healing power within us and in the natural world that may have gone dormant.

The highlight of this Practice Capstone weekend is that you will have the opportunity to experience that which you’ve been studying with Pandit Tigunait. You’ll participate in a daily havan, the offering of herbal ingredients into the sacred fire. Each fire offering will be preceded by a lecture session explaining the steps of the fire offering, their sequence, and the significance of mantras recited during the offerings. Furthermore, if you attend in-person, you will have the rare opportunity to soak in the energy of the fully consecrated space of the Sri Vidya shrine along with the energy awakened by the Rudra Yaga group practice. Studying and practicing in the company of like-minded aspirants, especially in a spiritually charged Sri Vidya shrine, is an experience you will treasure for your whole life.
