There is great wisdom to receive from listening to nature. Silence can be a great teacher and guide. Let us celebrate the beauty of Earth.

Experience a retreat focused on honoring the Earth while honoring ourselves. This unique weekend will be a journey while holding silence. This guided offering will help support a total reset for the mind, body, spirit. We live in a society that is over stimulated and extremely busy which can make it difficult to cultivate spaces of prolonged peace.

What would happen from slowing down and going inward? The thought of being in silence can feel uncomfortable because it is not a common practice. Nature will support our process. As we journey with ourselves we will be journeying with prompts and spaces to connect deeper to Earth.

Participants will come into silence intentionally during the Friday evening workshop and hold through Sunday morning. This is ideal for those who are curious about the power of silence or are feeling burnt out / stressed.

Amy Lee Flower will be speaking throughout to guide the workshops. Participants will receive a supportive self-care package and a badge of honoring silence.

The Weekend Workshops include:
  • Heart Opening Cacao Ceremonies from Moka Origins
  • Opening Circle of Intention
  • Morning Yoga Asana Practice
  • Crystal Bowl Sound-bath Meditations
  • Art of Earth Day Celebration
  • Guided Visualizations
  • Yoga Nidra Rest Meditation
  • Nature Immersion Workshop
  • Journaling Prompts
  • Closing Circle of Integration
Research shows the benefit of periods of dedicated silence can:
  • Improve mental clarity
  • Assist in processing emotions
  • Boost the immune system
  • Decrease Stress
  • Increase Creativity
  • Aid in better sleep patterns
  • Silence has been found to stimulate brain growth: In 2013, a study into brain structure and function found that a minimum of two hours of silence could result in the creation of new brain cells in the area of our brains linked to learning and recall.
  • Noise affects our stress levels by raising cortisol and adrenaline. A study in the journal Heart in 2006 found that silence can relieve tension in just two minutes.
  • Periods of silence throughout the day enhance sleep and lessen insomnia. We have all heard advice about “winding down” before bed but few of us apply it to ourselves.
