Step away, dive deep, and rediscover your center — immerse yourself in the heart of yoga this autumn.

Join us for this 4-day retreat, offering a deep dive into yoga as a pathway to inner peace and transformation. Nestled in the serene Pocono Mountains, the Himalayan Institute provides the perfect setting to step away from the chaos of daily life and reconnect with yourself. As the vibrant colors of autumn emerge, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the magic of the season while immersing yourself in your yoga practice.

Over the weekend, you’ll be guided through a blend of mindful and accessible asana, meditation, breathwork, and restorative practices, all designed to help you step into the heart of yoga. This retreat not only supports personal growth but also builds meaningful connections in a space that encourages authenticity and presence.

Supported by the tranquil energy and timeless wisdom of the Himalayan Institute, the rhythms of nature, and the vibrant autumn season, you’ll explore what it means to truly live your yoga. Come as you are, ready to rediscover the tools for inner peace, balance, and connection to carry into your everyday life.

Our time together will include:
  • Silent morning meditation and three yoga practices, ranging from 30 to 90 minutes. Weather permitting, some practices will be held outside!
  • Lectures and discussions that deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy and practice.
  • A tour and guidance on using the Sri Vidya Meditation Shrine.
  • A guided hike to Tanners Falls or tour of Moka Origins (weather will determine which).
  • A bonfire (with s’mores!) at Sound of Music Hill (weather permitting).
  • Plus, a few extra surprises!

The Sri Vidya Shrine is the spiritual heart of the Himalayan Institute. This sanctuary offers an ideal setting for silent meditation and group spiritual practice, a cornerstone of the Himalayan Tradition for thousands of years. Nourishing Meals
Our nutritionally balanced vegetarian meals are thoughtfully prepared to nourish body, mind, and spirit. Each of our three daily meals is designed to be easily digestible and to support a meditative lifestyle. Sharing meals here naturally fosters connection, offering both deep nourishment and a sense of community.

Our Himalayan Café serves the Institute’s signature chai, coffee, and homemade cookies and treats on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The 24/7 Tea Lounge offers a variety of herbal teas for anytime enjoyment. On campus, the MOKA Origins Factory is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering handcrafted, ethically sourced chocolate and coffee, with free tours and tastings on Saturdays.
