Program Calendar

The bandhas (locks) activate and integrate the energetic body, and elevate asana and pranayama practice beyond physical exercise. In this workshop, we’ll look at the three main bandhas from the perspective of the muscular and energetic levels. Then we’ll explore asana to gain and refine access to the bandhas, and work with their application in the context of asana and pranayama.

Highlights Include:
  • How the bandhas help access the energetic hub and axial core of the body
  • Why and how to redirect the energy flow of the subtle body
  • Developing targeted muscular strength for structural stability and integrity
  • Linking muscle tone (tonus), awareness, effortless engagement, and states of mind
  • How the bandhas facilitate resiliency and an inner locus of control
  • Three 90 minute classes applying bandhas in asana and pranayama practice

  • Friday, March 26, 10:30 am–12:00 pm | Session 1 | Three Main Bandhas—Exploring Physical and Energetic Stabilization
  • Tuesday, March 30, 10:30 am–12:00 pm | Session 2 | Activation with Muladhara and Uddiyana Bandha
  • Thursday, April 1, 10:30 am–12:00 pm | Session 3 | Integration, Jalandhara Bandha, and Inner Focus

Recording of the session are usually available within the following four hours and remain available for one week after the program completion. Opt in for Lifetime access to have the recordings indefinitely.
