The TCTSY Foundational Training is an introduction to the core concepts and applications of Trauma-Sensitive Yoga. It is designed for yoga teachers, social workers, educators, mental health professionals, and other service providers.

We will explore:
  • Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory, and Neuroscience (Interoceptive Theory)
  • Neurophysiology & Biology of Stress and Trauma (How Trauma Impacts the Brain)
  • Spectrum of Trauma Impacts & Complex Trauma as Lived Experience

This training is also the primary prerequisite to our yearly 300-hour Certification Program in TCTSY. While the Foundational Training does not qualify participants to facilitate Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, it does provide the foundations for making your current scope of practice more trauma-informed.
