Overview
Extend your Adirondacks experience with a 2-night stay in the backcountry at Johns Brook Lodge. Accessible only by foot, via an easy 3.5-mile hike, JBL offers an opportunity to experience a remote wilderness setting with some front-country comforts like freshly prepared meals, running water, and bathroom facilities. This will be our basecamp for our ascent to Gothics Peak and then onward across the ridgeline to Armstrong and Wolfjaw Peaks — this route is considered one of the most beautiful and interesting hikes in the High Peaks region.
