Life’s many faces, seemingly insignificant and monumental alike, never fail to amaze and surprise us. How can we catch glimpses of the ever-present Divine through these experiences, so that we remain joyful and vibrant in all circumstances? How do life’s fleeting moments reveal our deeper fulfillment and freedom (bhoga and apavarga)?
Yaga—the dedicated and purposeful effort to see beauty in the world and to serve that beauty—is the key to unlocking this mystery. Inspired by this truth, the sages boldly proclaimed that happiness is our creation. Their sankalpa (purposeful determination) is that we create a grounded, well-nourished reality, even amidst a world of instability, fear, and doubt. This is the gift of the sages, which we receive through the grace of yaga.
