Alexandra Levine

Alexandra serves Veterans Yoga Project as the Chief of Training Programs. She is an RYT200, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and the spouse and caregiver to an Army combat veteran. She holds bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Philosophy and loves to weave yogic philosophy into her classes.

Her yoga journey started as a teen dealing with a life-threatening illness. She has used the tools of yoga ever since to manage pain, heal her body, and nurture her mind. After discovering the power of yoga for herself, she decided to share it with others. She completed her 200hr training with Two Birds Yoga Training in Oregon in 2019 and immediately began volunteering for VYP, teaching yoga to veterans in her community. Serving those who have served is revealed as her dharma, her life path, and she pursues a life of service.

Alexandra brings passion and sustainability to hundreds of hours of volunteer classes with veterans, inmates, retirees, trauma survivors, and adults with intellectual disabilities. She is currently pursuing the 500hr designation and hopes to provide continuing education to yoga teachers who wish to serve others.
