Amanda Gatchet
Amanda Gatchet, RYT-200, is a Professor of Communication Studies who originally set out to study yoga as a way to help students in her public speaking courses overcome speech anxiety. What she found was a calling to hold space for others as they deepen their yoga practice. Amanda's training is in classical and tantric yoga philosophy. She leads vinyasa-style and restorative practices. It is her goal as a yoga instructor to provide an inclusive, safe, and fun experience for practitioners of all abilities. Amanda is currently completing her 300-hour YTT to become an RYT-500 instructor.
When she's not in the studio or in a classroom, Amanda can be found spending time with her husband and son or tending to one of the many beehives she keeps in her backyard.
