Amy Berg
Amy Berg RM, IETM, LMT is a Master-Instructor in both White Light Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy as well as an LMT in New Jersey. Amy's own healing journey began after searching for assistance with migraine headaches, stress, and back pain. Amy worked in corporate customer service, accounting, and management for years and was looking for a way to facilitate her work-life balance. It was at this point that she was introduced to the benefits of White Light Reiki.
As a Master-Instructor, Amy used her corporate skills to excel in empowering others to achieve their own goals and find balance on their own journeys. Amy started her private White Light Reiki hands-on healing practice in 1998 and offered treatments at a popular local health spa to clients for relaxation. She then offered treatments as an integral part of care plans at an outpatient mental health center in East Brunswick, NJ. In 2000, she expanded her outreach offering three years of very well received White Light Reiki Certification courses at Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ.
Her grounded, professional, and dynamic classes facilitated over 600 certifications of practitioners at all levels. Amy embarked upon a massage therapy certification in 2008 to enhance her understanding of the physical body. A lifetime student, Amy seeks continuing education in all modalities to enhance her sessions and instruction. Amy Berg is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education approved provider. As such, Amy can issue CEU's for massage therapists. Amy's sessions include connecting physical, spiritual, and emotional healing.
There are physical manifestations caused by emotional or spiritual stress. An example would be “sick to your stomach” or stress headaches—physical reactions to environmental triggers. White Light Reiki helps you to relax, remove blockages, balance the systems of your body, and allows energy to flow freely—very much like acupuncture without the needles. White Light Reiki is offered as part of traditional care plans in many hospitals and clinics and in some cases may be covered by insurance.
