Jayne Bernasconi

Jayne Bernasconi has been practicing yoga for over 35 years, holds a Masters of Arts in Dance Education from Columbia University, and is an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. She owns Yoga On York (www.yogaonyork.net) in Baltimore, where she teaches and guides the 200 and 500-hour teacher trainings. With a passion for creative writing and journaling, Jayne often incorporates her writings into spoken word performances. Initiated into the Sri Vidya living tradition of the Himalayan Masters, Jayne is a certified Vishoka Meditation teacher and has completed 11 ParaYoga Master Trainings. Jayne is the co-author of Aerial Dance with Nancy Smith. She presented her invention of aerial yoga at the international aerial dance festival in 2002, combining her love of aerial dance and yoga.
