Katie Bean
As a lifelong learner and teacher in numerous capacities, Katie’s passion has always been education. After graduating with a master’s degree in education and working in a fast-paced environment, she was introduced to the healing power of yoga. The techniques she was learning on the mat were taken off the mat and helped her overcome physical ailments, mental anguish, and past trauma. Eager to learn more, she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and an additional trauma-informed Yoga for Recovery training. She continues to dive deep into ancient yoga techniques that help her live more fully each day. Katie’s classes are trauma-informed vinyasa or slow flows that incorporate yoga texts and teachings to provide insights on how yoga can heal the mind, body. and spirit.
