Lidia J Snyder is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500), and a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) with an unwavering belief in the capacity of yoga practice to enhance and change lives. A personal yoga practice brought many benefits to Lidia, and she pursued the mind/body/spirit connection on a deeper level. Combining her passion for social justice and yoga led her to complete her teacher training through the Himalayan Institute along with an additional 300-hour program at the Trauma Center in Boston, MA.
She facilitates in traditional yoga practice spaces but focuses her time on Trauma Sensitive Yoga in mental and behavioral healthcare settings. She frequently presents to mental health professionals as a continuing education provider. She is a contributing author of the recently published YOGA and RESILIENCE: Empowering Practices for Survivors of Sexual Trauma.
