Sara Johnson
Sara has been attending retreats at the Himalayan Institute for nearly a decade and always leaves campus feeling renewed, inspired, fulfilled, and deeply connected to new friends. She is excited to share this experience with other women and allow life’s stressors to release their grip.
It is her goal that participants of the Recharge & Restore Retreat for Women conclude the weekend feeling grounded, nourished, empowered, and revitalized in order to return to daily life with a sense of balance and wellbeing.
Sara is a dedicated yoga professional committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where participants can unlock their potential and shine, regardless of abilities, age, or experience.
“I’ve experienced the empowerment of ‘being enough’ during yoga through teachers who honor the individual strengths and needs of their students. I strive to share that feeling with others through my classes.”
Sara incorporates experience as a Pre-K through adult classroom educator to create a non-judgmental space for students to thrive, grow, and excel through yoga and meditation. She has completed various yoga trainings that include Divine Sleep ® Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness, Meditation, Restorative, Yin, Chair, and Children’s yoga.
Sara loves reading, learning, and continuing to expand her ability to serve others through movement, journaling, and meditation.
On campus, her favorite things are Chai parties, Massage and Shirodhara ayurvedic treatments, hiking around the pond, and the monthly coffee and chocolate subscription at Moka Origins.
