Steve Treu, L.P.C., M.S., is the co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer at Quantum Revolution Counseling Inc.
Steve graduated from Allegheny College with a bachelor's degree in psychology and later graduated from Chatham College with a master of science degree in counseling psychology. He received his License in Professional Counseling from the Pennsylvania State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs. He has been working in outpatient drug and alcohol therapy with dual diagnosis since 2003, and has been in private practice at Quantum Revolution Counseling Inc. since 2009. Steve is also the author of New Eyes and Hope is Dope. His writing career started in sports journalism, where he covered the Pittsburgh Steelers until transitioning back to a graduate education in Counseling Psychology in 2001. Since 2018, while working at QRC Inc., Steve has been the keynote speaker/lead presenter for Hope is Dope, the Butler County Community College’s (BCCC) community outreach program, which is a growing program that includes community-based and prison psychoeducation and group processing. It is free to the public and grant funded. Lastly, Steve has taught adult education classes on his two books at BCCC.
