Yajna is commonly thought of as ritual practice or worship—specifically, rituals centered around the sacred fire. But there is much more to it than that. In this “instant classic,” Pandit Tigunait explains how yajna (also called yaga) is the meeting point of our worldly ambitions and spiritual aspirations. The goal of yajna is to bring balance, prosperity, and auspiciousness into our lives and the broader world, and it starts with understanding and working with our own minds in conjunction with the finer forces of nature.

Drawing on rich passages from chapter 3 of the Bhagavad Gita and stories of ancient and modern sages, Panditji gives context and specific examples of how we can transform our practice of yoga—and our day-to-day life—into a beautiful and powerful expression of yajna.
