Webinar Description:

Ayurveda is an ancient science that offers a vast array of knowledge and practices related to diet and lifestyle for the purpose of healing, transformation, and self-knowledge. Although thousands of years old, the inherent wisdom found in ayurvedic teachings can be immensely beneficial in establishing and maintaining vibrant health in today’s modern world.

Ayurveda means “the knowledge of life.” This tells us that by learning more about ayurveda, we learn more about the entire scope of life in relation to ourselves and how we interact in the world. Ultimately, a foundational understanding of the science of ayurveda introduces us to a path of deeply rewarding self-study and practice, and infuses all aspects of our lives with purpose, meaning, and balance.

Join Judy Moulton for this comprehensive exploration of the essential concepts of ayurveda, and take the next step toward a more rewarding experience of life!

In this five-session webinar, you will learn the following key ayurvedic principles:
  • The foundation of ayurvedic theory: the five elements of space, air, water, fire, and earth
  • The difference between Prakriti (our unique elemental constitution) and vikriti (our current state of imbalance)
  • The importance of strong and balanced agni (digestive fire) for healthy digestion and elimination, and how to nurture agni with dietary and lifestyle routines and practices
  • How to organize your life using the concept of the ayurvedic clock, as well as considering how the doshas are at play during different seasons of the year and stages of life
  • How to develop an ayurvedic dinacharya (daily routine) which supports physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing with cleansing and nourishing practices
  • The importance of supportive yogic practices for movement and optimal breathing
