Chris Lean

Chris believes that genuine health is rooted in self-care. Chronic pain from an old injury led to her first Yoga class in 1997 which began a lifelong commitment to Yoga. She completed her Yoga teacher training in 2001 and through study and practice was introduced to Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga. She earned her certification as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist from the Himalayan Institute in 2012. In 2016, Chris returned to the Himalayan Institute, attaining board certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. This experience heightened the understanding of the intricate relationship between daily choices and their impact on health, vitality, and longevity. Chris is committed to guiding women in gentle and restorative practices, along with self care, recognizing the unique needs and benefits these approaches offer. She emphasizes the transformative power of Yoga and Ayurveda as essential self-care tools, believing daily practices and choices are foundational for health and longevity.
