Heidi Audet

Heidi L. Audet, BA, ERYT-500, AHC, is a seasoned yogi, Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and nature enthusiast from Brant Lake, NY, and has lived in Maine since 1988. A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Heidi spent 21 years in public education and 26 years coaching field hockey, shaping her unique approach to teaching yoga by meeting students where they are. Heidi began her yoga journey in 1998 and, after training with YOGASpirit Studios, co-founded Chill Yoga in Maine. She continued her studies at the Himalayan Institute, where she deepened her understanding of Yoga and Ayurveda, leading her on a transformative spiritual pilgrimage to India in 2019. In 2020, Heidi brought her love of nature through hiking, walking meditations, seasonal nutrition, and outdoor yoga practices to Chill when she created one of Chill's signature programs: "Chill Yoga Outdoors." Since the program's inception, Heidi has led students on over 30 Yoga Outdoor hikes, snowshoeing, and trail walking adventures in Maine and New England.
She continues to lead retreats that emphasize the sacred connection between nature, seasonal awareness, and personal wellness.

When not teaching or studying, Heidi enjoys nourishing her friends and family with wholesome cooking, hiking the mountains of New England with her partner, Dan, and traveling to different parts of the world to hike and explore. She brings 22 years of yoga teaching and 13 years of Ayurvedic knowledge to her retreats. Heidi is excited to share her love of nature, yoga, and the wonders of her spiritual home, The Himalayan Institute, with her participants.
