Mary has been involved in health and fitness since her days at the Air Force Academy, but turned to yoga in 1997 to calm her busy mind and stressful days. She has been teaching yoga since 2007 and has owned her own studio since 2009. As an E-RYT 200, she leads group classes, workshops, retreats, and private clients, sharing her knowledge in a light-hearted, practical way. The Ayurveda Yoga Specialist program led Mary to the Himalayan Institute, where the wonderful mix of yoga, tantra and ayurveda continues to help her deepen her practices. Mary holds a BS in astronautical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and was in the Air Force as a C-130 pilot for over 12 years, using that background, as well, to help people find their path to yoga.
