Program CalendarThis unit is the introduction to ayurvedic herbology, or dravya guna shastra. It is the science of dravya (substances, drugs, or herbs), their gunas (properties and qualities), and their karmas (actions), which help in the maintenance of health and the alleviation of disease. In this session, we will introduce these concepts in depth so that we will be better equipped to understand each of the different herbs used in ayurvedic medicine.
Prerequisite for all AHC Graduate School Units: Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist graduate or comparable.
