March 15th and 16th will be for current Unit 8 AHC students only. We will review the small group projects to focus on how ayurveda applies ashtavidha pariksha (the eight means of clinical understanding) to mental and physical symptoms and diseases. We will also use the ayurvedic tools of diet, lifestyle, pranayama, yoga asana, herbs, and meditation in designing treatment plans.
On March 16-18. current Unit 8 AHC students will be joined by Dr. Claudia Welch, and a community of advanced ayurvedic students, including past AHC graduates for an informal & intimate time together to address questions about working with clients, exploring the use of narrative in medicine, the role of ahamkāra in medicine, how we can strive to become the medicine we practice and other topics that arise.
