Plan a getaway retreat at the Himalayan Institute to replenish, nurture, and recharge yourself. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our 400-acre campus, and join other like-minded participants to help with outdoor service projects including gardening, trail management, groundskeeping, painting, and more.
Participants may be asked to do the following depending on service assignment:
- Lift and carry 20–60 lbs.
- Frequently bend, kneel, and reach
- Stand for long periods of time
- Climb ladders
- Serve in outdoor projects
The mission of the Himalayan Institute is to inspire and empower all those who wish to reach their full potential. It is a one-of-a-kind, mission-driven organization that is supported by a community of residents as well as seekers who give the best of themselves while working toward a common goal.
